Sage kennels is a small kennel in Montana that is well known for producing high quality Brittanys. Along with some of the top Brittany pups in the country we offer started and finished dogs, seasonal and year round training, and boarding on all gundogs. Sage Kennels is based on honesty and hard work accompanied by a strong knowledge of bird dogs and hunting. Brandon Moss, the owner, breeder, and trainer of Sage Kennels, is a forth generation bird hunter. He has taken this heritage and has greatly expanded on it. Brandon and his dogs can be seen on upcoming episodes of the Wingshooter, on the Outdoor Channel. He has taken his love, and knowledge for the outdoors and bird dogs and has started to share it with others. This love and knowledge is placed into each and everyone of the dogs that comes out of Sage Kennels. When you pick up your dog from our kennels you can expect the very best of what is offered.

PUPS

Through out the years we have established a great base of bloodlines with some of the top pedigrees anywhere. These pedigrees contain many FC (Field Champions), CH (Champions) ,DC (Dual Champions), NFC (National Field Champions), and HOF (Hall of Fame) dogs. The dogs of Sage kennels must uphold to high standards based on natural ability. Along with natural pointing, backing, and retrieving abilities, they posses many other characteristics such as versatility, athleticism, smooth coats, intelligents, trainability, as well as a great personality for the family pet. Most of our dogs go to homes that hunt and live with the family. All of our dogs have their dew-claws removed and tails docked. They are also de wormed, and are up-to-date on shots. STARTED AND FINISHED DOGS

Much dismay to what many people think, we at Sage Kennels believe there are good dogs in all breeds, but as we all know, the Brittany breed holds the top honors. With that said, form time to time we come across dogs, of all breeds, that need to find a new home for different reasons. As we get them an assessment is done and then we add the right touches to bring you your perfect hunting companion and family pet. Also we like to “hold back” a pup or two from our litters to make sure we are continuing to breed to our standards. As these pups progress and we have established their desires they become available to you for purchase. TRAINING & BOARDING

What ever training you are looking at we can offer it. We do not take a lot of dogs in to train so your dog can get all the time and attention it deserves. Weather you are looking to get you pup off on the right foot, or need to get your dog ready for compation Sage kennels can do it. We take in pups, and dogs of all ages. Most of our training is done with the hunter in mind. Some of the types of training we offer are starting your puppy, hunting dog, conditioning programs, and “tune ups”. We also can advance your dog if you are looking to compete in Field Trials. Many of the dogs we train our pups we have sold and our customers want to become advanced in their training. If you are having a hard time deciding if you want the responsibility of having a dog we have a great service to offer you. We are now offering year round training which entitles your dog staying in our kennel and trained 12 months of the year. This will allow you to have to freedom and be able to pick up your dog at your convenience. Your dog will be tuned up on his bird activity and in the shape he needs for a great hunting trip.
